Did you know that the second Sunday of September is recognized as National Grandparent’s Day?! It’s a great way to celebrate the importance that our Elders play in our personal lives, communities and our families. We have made this day one of our Mont St. Joseph Foundation’s favorite days for 25 years and counting!!

Not only is this a fun-filled family day here at the Home, but it’s a great way to get all of the family involved helping to raise funds for new and upgraded medical equipment, furnishings and programs for our 120 special care Residents who call Mont St. Joseph home.

The fun gets started every year at 2:30pm with our Ball Drop Raffle in Prime Ministers Park (across the road from the Home’s front drive way) and you will want to make sure you are here to take in this one! Followed by a family Stroll around the building, live entertainment, fun and games for the kids (of all ages) and then we wind the day up with a FREE family BBQ!

So, what’s the best way to get involved?

Grab a couple of our Donation cards and share them with family and friends to help us support some amazing improvements around Mont St. Joseph Home.

*Donation Cards are available starting each July and can be turned into the Foundation Office anytime before or during our Grandparent’s Day celebrations.

This fundraiser is so much more than the financial support that it contributes to making Mont St Joseph Home “Different”. It is about our family, friends and local community members collaborating to create the amazing ambiance and what truly makes our long term care home feel like a family and a “Home” for our 120 Residents and their families.
