Join Saskatchewan’s Youth Poet Laureate, Dash Reimer, as he uses spoken word poetry
and hip hop, a guitar and a loop pedal to bring you on a journey as we explore all those
cycles that we just can’t seem to escape. In its base form ‘you’ve seen this show before’ is
a ~50 minute show about the cycles we’re stuck in, hope in an absurd world and caring
for each other regardless. The show uses scripted poems, freestyle and multiple
instruments in its entirety.

Dash Reimer is an artist and educator based out of Treaty 6
territory in Saskatoon. He is Saskatchewan's 5th Youth Poet
Laureate. He works within the worlds of poetry and hip hop and
has a decade of experience performing on stages across Turtle
Island, North Africa, South Africa and Turkey. He is passionate
about community care, grassroots neighborhood movements
and baking his friends tasty treats. Dash has been an avid
collaborator in playwriting, chapbook making, jazz combos,
improv troupes, rap crews and everything in between.
