Event Details:

The Prince Albert Speed Skating Club (PASSC) is hosting a short track speed skating meet on Saturday, March 8th at the Art Hauser Centre!  Entry fee for competitors (closing date for entries is February 28th), but spectator admission is FREE!  The club will be holding a fundraising 50:50 draw, and the city will have the canteen open during the day.  A great day to check out one of the fastest sports on ice, and to cheer on our competitors including many local children & young adults!

Our club practices from September to the end of March at the Art Hauser Centre and our skaters range in age from 4 to adult.  Our members compete in Provincial, Western Canadian and National meets in both short track and long track events.

Our club offers a FREE trial period (4 sessions) for new speed skaters wanting to give it a try.  Speed skate & suit rentals are also available from the club, and we offer a 15 week Learn To Skate Program for beginners age 4 and up (registration is in September).
