In partnership with the City of Prince Albert, the Beau ‘Lac’ Funeral Home is proud to sponsor this year’s Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 4, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Memorial Square, located outside City Hall in downtown Prince Albert. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and celebrate the spirit of community.

 

Highlights of the evening include:

• Tree Lighting at 7:00 p.m.: The main event will light up the big evergreen beside City Hall.
• Caroling by the Prince Albert Children's Choir: The beautiful voices of the choir will add festive cheer following the tree lighting.
• Santa Letter Writing and Colouring: Children can write letters to Santa and enjoy free colouring inside the warm foyer of City Hall. 
• Horse and Wagon Rides: sponsored by the Prince Albert Downtown Business Improvement Distruct, families can hop on a horse and wagon ride and enjoy the scenic downtown area.
• Hot Chocolate & S'mores: Lake Country Co-Op is generously providing hot chocolate, and the Prince Albert Firefighters will host a fire pit for marshmallow roasting and s'more making.

 

The square will be alive with holiday music before and after the tree lighting, providing a magical atmosphere for all to enjoy.
