Event Details:
This exhibit is part of "Preserving Sacred Landscape: Blood Memory as Justice", a nationwide research project exploring land and body reclamation among youth and elders across Turtle Island, led by Dr. Margaret Kress of the University of New Brunswick. 13 Two Spirit community members participated in reflexive gatherings, learning about land, water, ceremony, and traditional arts from Elder Marjorie Beaucage, the land, and one another to enrich their spiritual and psychological well-being. From these gatherings and the reciprocal exploration of self in relation to the land, they created in a multitude of ways. In this exhibit, they share their diverse expressions of their individual and collective spiritual landscapes.
