Harmony Johnson is an artist, producer and a creative. She has been creating for as long as she can remember. Her first inspirations were, sewing and beading with her grandmother, sitting on her father’s lap watching him draw, and the water colour paint set her mother bought her at 10 years old. Her art weaves symbolism, storytelling, and her world view as an indigenous woman into vibrant powerful images. Harmony’s medium of choice in the past has been oil and acrylic paint but has expanded into fabric and mixed media. She is an Expressive Arts Facilitator and yoga teacher and is currently leading arts, yoga, and culture programming in various community locations. She is also expanding into film and writing. You can find her work on her Facebook and Instagram pages “Down to Earth Expressive Arts & Yoga.”
